There is a huge variety of different sized televisions these days. And stocking boxes for that number of screen sizes would need a warehouse the size of the Phoenix Park! If you really need a cardboard box for your TV, we would suggest going to a shop who sells them, as they often have leftover boxes from the TVs they have on display. We have found that Furniture Removal Blankets held in place with Pallet Wrap is great protection for any size of television when moving house.
Most beds consist of two parts – the mattress and the base/frame. The most important part to protect from dirt etc is the mattress, as this is closest to your body while you sleep! It doesn’t matter how deep your mattress is, as our Mattress Bags have generous side gussets to accommodate different depths. A divan-type base could be packed in a separate Mattress Bag, but if you really need to wrap the base of your bed, Pallet Wrap would be really useful.
Sentimental clothing needs careful care – your grandmother’s christening gown that you’ve just used for your child should be kept safe for your own grandchildren! Acid Free Tissue is pH-neutral so can protect fibres etc over long periods of time without damaging them. Storing your precious clothing in Vacuum Storage Bags can further help to keep dirt, dust and moisture well away. A professional dressmaker or tailor may be able to give you specialist advice on preserving textiles.
