A Great Partnership
All of the cardboard boxes offered at Box Depot are supplied flatpacked for ease of transportation. This means that you will need Sealing Tape to secure the openings so that you can use the cardboard box! The Sealing Tapes at Box Depot are chosen with care to work easily with cardboard boxes.
Cost-Effective
Many tape manufacturers will skimp on the amount of adhesive they use, or narrow the width of the tape so that they can lower the price. Our tapes are also supplied to businesses, so our sealing tapes are an industry-standard 48mm x 66M long with excellent sealing properties.

Do you need additional information about our clear tape, brown tape, fragile tape or paper tape?
Sealing Tape can be temperature-sensitive and may struggle to stick to cardboard boxes below temperatures of 0°C. This is not a flaw, but simply a Fact of Life! In cold weather, instead of storing sealing tape in an outside shed/garage or the boot of your car, Box Depot recommends that you should bring your Sealing Tape into your living area for a few hours (ideally at least overnight!) so that it’s adhesive qualities can acclimatise.
It can be irritating when Sealing Tape doesn’t stay in place and keeps falling off. Sealing Tape is pressure-sensitive. This means that to ensure a secure seal you should run your hand (or fist!) over the length of tape, pressing down so that any tiny air bubbles or wrinkles are removed.
If you did not received your Sealing Tape with your order, please contact Box Depot at 01-4507272 to report the shortage as soon as possible after receiving your incomplete order. We can then send replacements to you.
The most common sealing tapes are made from plastic. Although manufacturing technology has advanced, at Box Depot we don’t feel that sealing tapes can be called eco-friendly at present. Therefore, we also stock Brown Paper Sealing Tape which is a great eco-friendly option.
