SUSTAINABLE: Sugarcane matures in 11 months while trees can take 30 years or more. Using sugarcane by-products doesn't contribute to deforestation, a leading cause of climate change.
BIODEGRADABLE: Industry standards say that toilet paper should break down within 19 seconds when flushed. Sugarcane toilet paper breaks down in only 4 seconds, making them safe for the ocean ... and your drains!
LOW CARBON EMISSIONS: As a by-product, sugarcane fibre is widely available and doesn't require cutting down trees. There are also fewer steps needed to process it, making it less fuel-intensive than it's wood-based counterparts.
TACKLES CLIMATE CHANGE: After the sugar has been processed, the leftover plant material (bagasse) is often burned. This can be a major contributing factor to climate change. Using this leftover material can help stop this harmful practice.
