The Upper Teflon Tape plays a crucial role in the heat-sealing process by covering the sealing wire, effectively preventing your poly bags or plastic lay-flat tubing from adhering to the blade.

This prevention of sticking is essential for maintaining the integrity of the seal, reducing element breakage and ensuring consistently high quality seals.

For optimal performance and longevity of your heat sealing equipment we strongly recommend replacing both the Upper and Lower Teflon Tapes at the same time. This practice ensures uniform sealing pressure and heat distribution, resulting in superior seal quality and therefore also extending your machine's lifespan.
